Its been due

So this has been due for a week or two now so I figured I would get it done and do it now.  Just an update for you people from all over the country who want to check up on whats going on in my life.

A few weeks back Courtney and myself become Florida residents a few weeks back and got our Florida driver’s licenses. Of course I look like I am having a mug shot taken but usually who isn’t like that when they are having those types of pictures taken, MOST.

Courtney transfered to an Office Max store down here right by the Florida Mall, although she isn’t ringing as much or on the floor, she is working Impress which she is enjoying a hellua lot better, though she still wants to find another job due to not liking the company and it pretty much being a dead end job.

I finally got a job working for Kodak at Wet ‘n Wild, so I get to walk around a water park all day and take pictures of people.  As of right now I am working 5 hour shifts 4 to 5 days a week either 10 – 3 or 11 – 4 due to the season, so I am going to have to probably find an evening shift somewhere just to get the money for bills and rent and what not.

Jynx is doing well, she did get a case of fleas which I believe we’ve taken care of, finally. If I recall correctly, she got them from the one stop we made the first night down here.

I know I’ve been asked for pictures, we really haven’t done anything to take any pictures but I will see what I can do in the very near future to get some pictures taken and what not for you people.

The weather down here has been amazing.  It gets a little chilly at night but even right now it is 70 degrees out side and feels great, I am glad I am not up in that Chicago cold.  It was kinda cold going in and out of the water at work today but hey atleast I can do that down here, muahahahahahaha.

As I was reading through my last HUGE post, no where in there did I thank my Mom for all the help she gave me and Courtney with our move down to Orlando.  If it was for her love, support and everything else she provided us on the drive down specially with me being sick.  So I just want to say THANK YOU mom for all your help

It is done and were here

So we are now living in Orlando.  I flew back to Chicago, Friday morning and Courtney picked me up and we went and got things done that we needed to do like pick up last check stubs, pick up my razor that was being fixed and then we went out to lunch with Dad to the Skylight on Odgen but we’ll NEVER go back there.  Not because we live in Orlando but because of the slow and poor service we got from them.

After lunch we went to Corey Steel where dad works to pick up Sox tickets for my sister which by the way lost that night but later today, they play Detroit to find out who wins the AL central.  After that we went back to the house and started dealing with the truck.  Since there was a few things that I thought we didn’t need any more to save room in the 10′ truck we got, so we had to take things out and start rearranging things.  That took us a few hours after mom started helping us.  Then we got the car packed with the electronics and some other things.  Then about 5pm comes around we are finally on the road.  We were heading to Poseyville, IN to see Courtney’s Mom and Dad and 2 of her sisters before we made the final stretch to Orlando.  We were on the road for about 6 hours and got in at about 11 pm due to mom getting tired while on the road so she started slowing down a little more.

So we spent the night at her parents house and we were on the road again by about 7:30 am, but we did stop for gas and breakfast at the famous McDonalds which we had twice which was surprising.  So officially we were on the road by about 9am after our stops.  We ended the day in Perry, GA which is south of Macon and north of Tifton if you have any idea where either one of those two cities are.  We stopped for Wendy’s that night which had free wifi so mom had me go get my laptop and we looked for rates at hotels and found that the Howard Johnson was the cheapest even with having a pet so we stayed there for the night.

Woke up at about 8:15ish and went down and had breakfast but Courtney’s was lazy and didn’t want to come down after telling her she needs to eat.  Anyways we were back on the road by about 9:30ish maybe a little later.  With Courtney driving due to me being sick most of the weekend which didn’t help, anyways, we were able to get into Orlando by about 3:30ish which wasn’t bad timing at all. It took us about 2 hours to unload everything from the car and the truck, maybe less time but it may have taken that long.

After getting things kinda of worked around in the apartment, we went and had dinner and then went to supertarget to buy some food as well as a few other things we needed for the place.  We got home and jason and everyone else was around so mom got to meet Jason a little more as well as John and Carlos.  Did a few things around here, like relaxing, surfing the net, etc just to pass some time, then Drew came by so mom got to meet him as well.  Since they were going out she wanted to wait til they were gone to shower and what not.  After they left thats what she did and then not to long after that we were getting ready for bed since we knew we had to get up to return the truck, get breakfast and get her to the airport for her flight home.

Onto this morning; We wake up at about 8:30 and of course courtney didn’t want to wake up since we had to get going to get everything done.  Finally wakes up, we finally get out the door and we go drop off the truck, we went to Waffle House and this morning was REALLY the first time all weekend I was able to eat without wanting to bring it back up since i was sick all weekend.  After breakfast we got mom to the airport so she could check in and get to her area and what not in time even if it was a 12 something flight.  Then after we dropped her off we head back and went to the Office Max courtney will be at so she could meet a few people she’d be working with.  Courtney talked with them for a few and with me feeling sick again we decided to leave.  We are going to go back later to meet the Store manager and what not as well.  We got back to the apartment and everyone was still sleeping and with my chest now hurting and feeling sick and Courtney having a head ache we went back and layed down and slept for another few hours.  I woke up, and saw others were now awake so I let Jynx out and she is loving all the attention she is getting from everyone here.  With my chest still slightly hurting I decided I would just jump into a HOT shower and see if it helps which it did, so as of now I only have a cough and everything else is better then it was.

Anyways, this is long enough, so I am gonna go for now, but I will keep things updated as we go.

Cubs grab Home Field Advantage for playoffs

Now see, when everyone was saying that the cubs weren’t going to do it again this season, I just laughed at them and said, you wait and see, “The Cubs will make to the playoffs and better yet, make it to the World Series.”  I was told that will not happen and the Brewers will win the division and not allow the Cubs to make the playoffs back-to-back years for the first time in a century.  Well as of Saturday the Cubs clinched the Central Division in a 5 – 4 win over arch rival St. Louis Cardinals behind a great performance by Ted Lilly and the offense.  Though tonights 9 – 5 win over the New York Mets clinched Home Field Advantage for the playoffs, which means we get the first two games in the NLDS which will be against either the Mets or the Dodgers depending on who makes the wildcard.  If Milwaukee makes the playoffs, the Cubs will take on the Dodgers, but if the Mets make the playoffs as the wildcard then we take on the Mets to start the NLDS.  Though with 6 maybe 7 games left anything is possible and the East and West divisions as well as the wild card can go any way still.

Though to all those cubs haters all I have to do at you is LAUGH,

Wow!

So I would have never thought my blog would become so popular.  Since my first post in months on September 14th, this blog has had 217 up til this point which is more then half of my total hits which is sitting at 423 total hits.  This is something I never thought would happen.  It took about a month for me to hit 100 hits and just over a week to hit 217, that is crazy … though I think it is because of some of the topics I have posted about recently with the whole presidental race going on and how much I hate McCain, and going to start updating a little more about whats going on here with my moving becoming to be more official as of next weekend.  Though it is time for bed, so until next time.
